We are a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue shelter and adoption center. Our shelter takes in emergency, abuse and neglect cases as well as dogs and cats from various animal control agencies in Palm Beach, Dade and Broward Counties in South Florida. We offer cats and dogs for adoption 7 days a week. We are a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization which relies solely on donations.
One of our goals is to address the overpopulation problem of stray and feral cats by offering the public a humane trap/spay/return service. Our program includes vaccinations, Aids/Leukemia testing, recovery & release, foster homes, medical care, and an adoption program.
As a dog trainer and dog behaviorist, Edel Miedes of K9 ADVISORS, a professional dog training school that does in-home obedience dog training and K9 protection dog training in South Florida, supports pet shelters such as this one. |
