Wildlife Rescue Coalition

The Wildlife Rescue Coalition of Northeast Florida, Inc. is a group of citizens, volunteers, experts, rehabilitators, veterinarians, and wildlife advocates who have come together to make sure that wildlife in Northeast Florida is being taken care of when they can't fend for themselves. This need is not currently being met in our region and since the splendor of Florida's wildlife belongs to all of us, we want to do what we can to protect it, responsibly!

Goals & Objectives:

Set up and maintain a system to provide assistance to those who find orphaned, injured and displaced wildlife.

Facilitate establishment and maintenance of physical facilities to treat and rehabilitate wildlife.

Identify areas for release of rehabilitated wildlife.

Recruit and train volunteers and rehabilitators to care for wildlife.

Educate the community about Northeast Florida wildlife issues.

As a dog trainer and dog behaviorist, Edel Miedes of K9 ADVISORS, a professional dog training school that does in-home obedience dog training and K9 protection dog training in South Florida, supports pet and wildlife rescues such as this one.
