The Dog from Ipanema was founded 21 years ago. It's founder had a simple goal: to provide high quality services to dogs and cats in a clean and respectfull environment. The open, colorful and clean space attracted newscasters from around the world. The doors to "The Dog" opened up in August of 1986 to a doggie by the name of "Scandal", a Chow/Lhasa mix.
Among it's many firsts, The Dog from Ipanema always welcomes owners that want to stay with their "babies" during the grooming sessions, all that it takes is an appointment!
As a dog trainer and dog behaviorist, Edel Miedes of K9 ADVISORS, a professional dog training school that does in-home obedience dog training and K9 protection dog training in South Florida, supports pet services such as this one. |
